About Me

My name is Priscilla Taylor. I graduated from Rutgers University with a B.A. in English. I am currently pursuing a Post-Baccalaureate certification in Early Childhood Education and a certificate in Technology and 21st Century Teaching at West Chester University. I have been working with children in different capacities for the last 7 years.

My love of educational technology began a year and a half ago with a class I took as part of my certification program. I was lucky to have a professor who fostered my passion and encouraged me to get involved in the educational technology field. The more involved I became, the more impressed I became at how educators are improving education to meet the demands of the 21st century and I was eager to join the ongoing conversation. My current interests include digital storytelling, augmented reality and mobile learning.

This blog is a story about my journey of discovery. Through this blog, I'll be sharing my experiences as I learn about new technology, new research and the ongoing evolution of education. I have a lot of questions and I hope the "answers" to them will join a larger conversation about making education meaningful and memorable for our students.
